The identity of C. sp. kota tinggi remains a mystery until today, more efforts and studies are needed to describe or identify this species. Base on information given by Dr. Neils, this species, together with C. jocosenii, C. decus silvia and C. xtimahensis are hybrid from C. nurii as one parent but with different parental genotypes, and he hope to have finished some more DNA studies in not too distant a future which hopefully will be able to point to the other parent.
This species lives in a 20 years oil palm plantation. The water originates from underground water and terminated in a small river nearby. The water level is about few inches deep but the mud and the decomposing litters can consume your calf. Betta pugnax and raspora’s are found living with it.
Here are some shots of the limb.

Hi TS, Welcome here.
Dr Neils suspected the reported crypt by Chau Hang in Chaah, JB was C. decus silvia but no one seem to be able to find it again.
