Visited a highland near Selangor last weekend, its kinda rush trip but still, we manage to meet our “friends” at the same spot that Herman found previously.
Interesting blood red color N. macfarlanei, this is the first time we found this vibrant and stunning looking mac.
Here is the common N. macfarlanei.
I found this giant N. sanguinea laying on the vary stiff slope but its kinda worth the effort to climb over for photo shooting but with cautions.
More N. sanguinea photos.
N. ramispina is commonly found in this highland, some of the pitchers are painted with intense green close to black color, most of them are light green but anyhow, its a beautiful nepenthes indeed. Some crosses are also found along the way.
Wild orchid was never a main target in this journey but we knew we can meet them. Some of the orchid is blooming as well. I’m no expert on orchid and so do herman, we don’t know most of their name. Appreciate someone can tell us.
The last but not least, other interesting flora.
