Cryptocoryne schulzei De Wit

C. schulzei is native in Johor, Malaysia. The distribution of this species is relatively narrow in compare with C. nurii, C.cordata and C.griffithii. This species lives in small jungle stream and swamp with mostly sand and decomposing litter’s substrate and the water is crystal clear.

It is not an easy plant to cultivate; it needs high water quality to survive in submerge condition.  My recommendation is plant it emerges with sand and cover with dead leaves litter.

The yellow limp and the dark brown throat of the spathe look absolutely stunning!

You are right about the spathe Joshua. Stunning!

I think the plant doesn’t look half bad either. :)
It’s a pity they are not so easy to cultivate under submerse condition.
