At the edge of the Tasek Bera radius, we discovered a beautiful healthy patch of C. cordata hidden in the deep swampy forest. It’s a regular fishing spot for the native but they never realized under the water living on the sandy based ground are a no regular aquatic plants.
Seldom had we found this species in the sandy based river, but nothing is certain when looking for crypts.Herman is sniffing at the substrate and saying it’s a good healthy smell.
Relatively dark green leaves.
The biotope, a nice small river streaming from the forest.
A nice patch of crypts growing on a sandy based substrate.
