Promised land

See nature

Bye bye my beloved nurii

When I try to remember two years ago when Herman first brought me to this place, the desperation of meeting them is like a groom awaits it bride in the church wedding ceremony. When I first embarked into the stream, I saw dragon fly stops and rests on its gentle leaves, when I waded slowly, school of panicky fishes crossing my legs and runs for cover. I felt the gentleness of the crypts under my foot, as I waded further, they will be more of them “greeting” me, and the blooming flowers are a present to us. We are blessed, we felt, touched and seen the greatness of God through his creations, especially those that we love.

But things are changing over time; the crypts were destroyed by the oil palm plantation owner unintentionally. It’s a normal procedure to replant the plantation in 25-30 years interval, streams are to be deepened and widen for the new comer, and the soil will be burned and fertilized. It’s a routine to them, it’s their land at end; they can do whatever they want.
We were stunned when we saw the sceneries but I’m not feeling sad, it’s expected! Nothing last forever on earth but God’s and his words will, so it’s up to you to choice your investment.

The remaining patch of Nurii, I doubt to see them again, sigh!

Only few of the mutated Nurii ever found this time, it will be gone forever.

A little casualty.
