This crypts ware once the most valuable among many other species, but they are getting common nowadays. Along with our journeys within Sarawak, we found quite a number locations that contain huge number of crypts populations. These are found mainly in the medium-fast flowing river. During raining season, the water level rises up to few meters deep hence the roots must have been very well griped to the substrate and holding each others forming a mesh to avoid being washed away by the stong water current. The size the of plant provides a clue on how strong the water current is during raining season; and the lower the nutrient and exposure, the bigger the plant size is.

Location3. A very unique location. C. Bullosa found sharing the home with C. Ciliata (Mangrove variety).
